Your Travel Friend is an online travel community built around the creators' love of travel and working and living "off the grid." I started to develop stickers for this client as she wanted something to give to fellow travellers.
Before my design process even started, I created a survey for the client to complete so I could have a better understanding of what the client was looking for. From the survey, I learned that they described the feel of their brand as "authentic, consistent and quirky." My goal was to encapsulate the feeling into this logo.
My process started by sketching out different ideas. After I presented the sketches to the client, she chose one for me to continue to develop. I traced my sketch in adobe illustrator and started to make adjustments, like kerning.
After some adjustments we made it to this final version. It stays true to my original sketch, but with changes that make this custom typography more cohesive within itself. I worked on many tweak's
