OASES Health Pharmacy is a local Vancouver business founded in 2023. I began my graphic design work with them after graduating in the summer of 2024. My projects with OASES are ongoing and I am incredibly grateful to be working with them!
My design process started by gathering the companies past branding materials, and coming up with a new word mark, which would later be used for my first project: Business cards.
The first thing I did was rearrange the original brand word mark and adjusted the colours. The original word mark felt unbalanced, and it didn't stick out. I decided to make "OASES," the main focus of the word mark, and "Health Pharmacy," in smaller typeface. I fiddled with the kerning and leading. After presenting the new changes and getting the "OK," I began working on the business cards.

I came up with three versions: version one for the front store pharmacy; version two for individual pharmacists; and version three for residents at the care homes and housing facilities Oases Health Pharmacy services.
After creating the business cards I sent them for print. I ensured that all files were ready for print by selecting Pantone colors for the word mark, creating outlines out of the typefaces, and making sure my files were all in CMYK. I was happy with the result from printing and was super proud to give the pharmacists their new business cards.
I used Adobe illustrator, photoshop, and indesign throughout my design process.
